The MISS seminars (MPI Internal Seminar Series) are a seminar series for the whole institute. Here, principal investigators, the heads of service units, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students provide an excellent forum for scientific discussion. It also allows the more junior scientists to practice their presentation skills and get feedback on ongoing research projects.
On a yearly basis, departments organize laboratory retreats with participation of lab members from other groups. Also, the Institute organizes a joined retreat of junior research groups and laboratories.
Groups belonging to the Münster chapter of the Stem Cell Network North Rhine Westphalia have regular meetings at the institute to enforce existing collaborations.
