PhD Representatives

The PhD representatives at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine are elected by and for the institute's doctoral researchers. They serve as a first point of contact for questions, concerns, and ideas relating to PhD life at the institute, and they represent PhD students' interests in discussions with the institute's management.

While the internal representatives handle day-to-day matters within the institute, the external representative liaises with the internal team and connects the institute to the PhDnet of the Max Planck Society – the network representing all PhD candidates and PhD representatives across the Max Planck institutes. This link keeps PhD students informed about Society-wide initiatives, events, and resources.
