Wissenschaftliches Service-Labor für Elektronenmikroskopie

Mithilfe elektronenmikroskopischer Techniken können zelluläre Strukturen in ihrer funktionellen Umgebung im Nano(meter)bereich aufgelöst werden. Die resultierenden EM Aufnahmen sind sehr illustrativ und häufig auch statistisch auswertbar. Sie bieten so eine nachhaltige Ergänzung zu molekularbiologischen und biochemischen Resultaten.

Serviceangebot

Wir beraten die Wissenschaftler im Haus bei einer EM-relevanten Fragestellung und betreuen die experimentelle Durchführung.
Wir unterstützen TEM-Analysen von:

  1. Konventionell chemisch fixiertem Material in Epoxydharz eingebettet und ultradünn geschnitten
  2. Kryo-fixiertem Material, nach der Tokuyasu-methode, mit Möglichkeit der Immunmarkierung
  3. Metallbeschattung
  4. Negativkontrastierung

Zudem haben wir mehrjährige Erfahrung in weiteren EM-Techniken, wie der Gefrierfixierung durch Hochdruck und anschließender Gefriersubstitution, 3D-Tomographie und REM (Rasterelektronenmikroskopie).
