Sternberg appraises the innovative strength of stem cell research

Survey of the new premises of the University Münster

In February 2009, the Ministry of Innovation of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia announced its plans to extend stem cell research. In view of Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Sternberg, Member of the Board of Trustees, strengthening the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine has tremendous impact on Münster as a place of science. Therefore, the CDU-Representative of the Landtag informed himself today, May 18 2009, as a Member of the Board of Trustees with Prof. Dr. Hans Schöler. Together with the Dean of the Medical Faculty of the University Münster, Prof. Dr. Wilhelm Schmitz, they surveyed the premises in the east wing of the Center for Molecular Biology of Inflammation that will be used for extending the stem cell research.
