Welcome to the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine

We are an international team of scientists dedicated to fundamental questions of cell and vascular biology, investigating how cells communicate, organize and specialize - with a focus on vascular growth, molecular signalling pathways and tissue stability. To this end, we use interdisciplinary multiscale analyses and develop innovative gene technologies for the targeted analysis of gene functions in individual cells.
