B.Sc. and M.Sc. theses
At our institute, it is generally possible to conduct an internship in the frame of a bacherlor or master thesis, especially for students of the according study fields.
Unfortunately, the requests by far exceed the number of B.Sc. and M.Sc. internships that we can offer. For reasons of time and place, we therefore cannot grant all requests. The success of your application strongly depends on your commitment and of course on the capacities of the potential supervisor.
Internships are distributed by the individual departments, research groups and service facilities. This is why you should familiarize yourself with the topics of the Departments and Research groups on our website and find the group in which you wish to apply for a B.Sc. or M.Sc. thesis with highest preference.
Prepare your complete application documents (application letter, curriculum vitae in tabular form, certificates, letter of recommendation if applicable). If you wish to send your application by e-mail, please create a single PDF file with all application documents. State why, when and for how long you wish to conduct a B.Sc. or M.Sc. internship. Substantiate in your letter why you are interested in the selected group.
Send your application by mail to:
Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine
Or by e-mail to:
firstname.lastname@example.org (all application documents in a single PDF file)
- Planning internships requires a certain lead time. You should, therefore, send us your application well in advance.
- We can only consider your application when your documents are complete.
- It may be helpful to address your application to several groups – possibly with the request that your application should be forwarded to a particular group when the primary addressee does not have any vacancies. However, here too, you should substantiate your interest seriously.
We wish you good luck with your application!
