20. Mai 2009

On its journey through Germany, the exhibition train “Science Express” will stop in Münster from May 21 to 23, 2009. Go to platform 9 of the central train station and have a look at carriage 3, dedicated to “bio + nano”: The microscopic photograph of the colorful cells on the outside of this carriage was taken by the Münster-based Max Planck scientist Friedemann Kiefer PhD. Inside the train a multimedia exposition with numerous exhibits for touching provides an insight into how life will change during the next decades and how science and technology will influence this process. As a project of the Max Planck Society, “Science Express” is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research on the occasion of the Science Year 2009. Admission is free.
