Students' day at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine
Students of the Fritz-Winter Comprehensive School in Ahlen take a look behind the scenes upon an invitation from the Stem Cell Network North Rhine Westphalia
On June 27, 2012, 30 scholars of the Fritz-Winter Comprehensive School in Ahlen visited the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster. This visit was part of a discourse project on stem cells, which they conducted with the Stem Cell Network North Rhine Westphalia over a week. Scientists explained at several stations how stem cells look like and how they are cultured, and how stem cells can be turned into e.g. cardiac muscle cells.
