Ralf Adams new member of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO)
Professor Dr. Ralf Adams, Director at the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Biomedicine and Head of the Department Tissue Morphogenesis, was elected as a new member in the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO).
EMBO announced this on April 17, 2014. Election to EMBO membership is a great recognition of research excellence and the outstanding achievements made by a life scientist. EMBO is an alliance of the best life scientists in Europe. EMBO members foster excellence in molecular biology in various manners: they are member of committees, mentor young outstanding scientists and initiate new activities for EMBO. Ralf Adams is after Dietmar Vestweber the second scientist of the Max Planck Institute who receives this recognition.
