New look for www.max-wissen.de

Relaunch of the successfull Max Planck internet portal for students and teachers

To the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the website www.max-wissen.de, this website was given a new look. Besides the classic MAX-magazines, the website provides the newest information, images and now also ambitiously produced films on exciting themes of science, such as plant resistance, stem cells, climate change or biomaterials. In the year 2005, the Max Planck Society has launched the internetportal www.max-wissen.de with funds of the 'Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft'. Since then, the website has evolved to be a drop-in center for teachers and students, who want to inform oneself on topical scientific themes and find more detailed information than school books usually offer.
