Growing organs from skin cells, replacing animal experiments with new toxicity tests and stimulating human tissue to self-healing – all this could be made possible by stem cell research. In the "Center for Advanced Regenerative Engineering" (Care), scientists aim to develop technologies and therapies to use stem cells in medicine. The Bavarian State government supports this center, which is supposted to arise in Munich from January 2017, with fifteen million euro. In April, the scientists presented the Care institute for the first time to representatives of politics, ecomony and research.
