Further honor for Hans Schöler in South Korea
Hans Schöler will become „Distinguished Professor“ at the Konkuk University in Seoul – intensification of cooperation with former Max Planck scientist by Max Planck Partner Group
The Max Planck Institute (MPI) for Molecular Biomedicine in Münster will establish its second Max Planck Partner Group in South Korea. In addition, Professor Dr. Hans Schöler of the MPI in Münster will be appointed "Distinguished Professor" at the Konkuk University in Seoul - an honor only few scientists are bestowed with. Head of the Max Planck Partner Group will be Dong Wook Han, who was a successful scientist at the MPI in Münster from 2005 until 2011 and who returned to his homeland university in Seoul as a Professor. The multiple distinguished young scientist will investigate with Hans Schöler how somatic cells can be directly reprogrammed into a variety of cell types.
